What kind of photo works best?
A clear phone photo is enough. Good lighting, a visible face, and one main pet in the frame will produce the best pet portrait.
How much does a custom pet portrait cost?
A SnootSnap digital pet portrait is $24.99, a professional 8 × 10 print is $39.99, and a framed 8 × 10 portrait is $119. Previews are free, so you only pay for a portrait you already like.
Is someone painting this by hand?
No. No painter, no sitting fee, no three-week wait. SnootSnap generates your portraits from your photo in minutes, and you pick the one that looks most like them.
Does it have to be a dog?
No. SnootSnap makes cat portraits as happily as dog portraits. Cats are fully permitted despite their objections.
Will the portrait actually look like my pet?
That’s the goal. Your photo is the identity reference, and portraits are built to preserve face shape, coloring, markings, and expression.
Can I see the portrait before I pay?
Yes. You review watermarked previews and choose your favorite before buying a finished product.
Can I include more than one pet?
Not yet. Each SnootSnap portrait features one pet for now. If you have two, they each get their own, which avoids arguments about who is in front.
Who owns my original photo?
You keep whatever rights you already have in it. Uploading a photo to SnootSnap does not transfer ownership of your photograph to us.
Can SnootSnap use my pet’s photo in ads?
Not by default. We would ask separately before using customer photos or portraits for public marketing.
How long do framed orders take?
Most printed and framed pet portraits are produced and shipped within several business days. You’ll receive tracking once your portrait is on the way.
Where do you ship?
Prints and framed portraits ship within the United States at launch. Digital portraits need no shipping at all.
Is there an Android app?
Not yet. SnootSnap is launching on iPhone first.
